Ending 2023 on a high

We really did have a November to remember here at PURPOSEFULLY BLENDED LIMITED as we celebrated our 8th year of success. You may remember us sharing in September that our CEO and founder Lucy Philip had been shortlisted for two categories at the 2023 National Facilitator Awards. For the Live Facilitator of the Year award she was required to deliver a 40 minute bitesize session, to an audience of 50 people as part of a CPD day alongside 4 other shortlisted facilitators, the audience then voted for the person they felt delivered the best session. Bearing in mind that this was a group of experienced facilitators, many of who had been shortlisted for other awards, Lucy wanted to ensure that it added value for them as well as show casing her own skills and experience. She decided to immerse the group in the power of play, laughter and human connection with the intention being to demonstrate the power of energetic activity and engaging with our 'child state' when learning.

Lucy is at the Awards Event holding her Trophy, standing against the sponsor backdrop.

It was a high energy session, just what was needed after lunch and we are delighted to share that Lucy was voted joint winner of the award. A large part of what we do at PURPOSEFULLY BLENDED LIMITED is to support and develop internal trainers within Global organisations, so it was a great opportunity to model those skills in a different environment.

We also ran our #partnershippanel of the year based around the #alignment pillar of our impact?? system. We focused on engagement as a driver for performance and our expert panel Kim England-Godber , Kate Morris-Bates and Melanie Guttridge shared great insights around this topic including top tips starting with how to recognise the signs of low engagement and what to do about that. You can catch the full replay of this session ?? or just download the Golden Nuggets ??
