An Endeavor to Success

"Gratitude is Not an Attitude" Gratitude is something that flows out of you when you are overwhelmed by the recognition you have received.

There are many people who know me, but a very few who understand me. This is a story to Thank You All - Who Mattered The Most to Me & Your Contributions For Whatever I am Today, In Making Me.

My beginning years started as a door-to-door Salesman promoting the new generation electric Sewing Machine – the now famous USHA brand carrying it from house-hold to house-hold demonstrating the features to the rich & famous in the city of Bombay to selling Newspapers –The Toronto Star outside the subways of Toronto in the wee early morning hours with temperatures below -20 C freezing cold without protection of snow shoes.

However, the good deeds and respect that my parents had achieved in their career along with their blessings and teachings one thing I was lucky was getting the jobs I applied for with the assist from close friends & well wishers.

The Year is 1988

On this day 10th July, 1988 me, a young man stepped out of a blissful happy home for the first time in-life away from the presence & guidance of my beloved parents.

It was on this day 32-Years ago, I alighted from Cathay Pacific in the morning hours on the bountiful land of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Bright and hot sunny day it was and the company car awaited to take me straight to the office of the Vice President Human Resource situated on the 6th Floor Jumbo House.

I welcomed murmuring to myself - Percy Welcome to United Arab Emirates the Country of Abundance.

Preparing for Abundance

Over the next few years, I shot myself to fame winning awards and being recognized and rewarded with gifts and awards that a very privilege few can even dream of.  

I became the cynosure of all eyes and a Hero in my company- A Fire-Fighter as some called me, I was the one who they believed could take on challenges and Yes! I did & did so successfully. (after all not everyone walks the Oscars)

Having brought up to take any job irrespective of titles and the learning’s attained from my parents that no job is big or small or menial-One only has to perform the job with due diligence and respect. I was fortunate to represent some of the World’s Best Companies across the globe and in different capacities that I represented them success and fame became my shadow.

Accepting both compliments & criticism at times years passed – Having Achieved Fame – Name & Success after two decades of smart work and fulfilling career, one day I decided to just lay down on the beach, letting the sun hit my face and forget about absolutely everything and pursue my passion.

Setting up myself with a goal to ‘Give’ – What I had Learned, I set up on a journey into stillness and silence to authentic abundance consciousness.

Success is not measured by money - but truly by Hard-work, Discipline & the Will to Win.

The above statement is so true in my life because on the day I landed the then, V.P HR had asked me a question – Percy, Why Have You Chosen to Come to Dubai?

To which my response was to earn recognition and have a successful career. –

He replied to me with a stern affirmative – NO, people come to Dubai to make money.

Well after almost 12 years we happened to bump into each other at the Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel and now our VP HR was a well know business leader having his own Recruitment Agency and was so gracious to acknowledge and remember our first conversation and happy to see me succeed in life.

The Year is 2012.

As I ventured into my new Avatar – leaving a well set job that was paying me a fat salary along with the position of power and leading scores of employees – I still chose to leave my comfort zone to dwell into the new world of education.

 Believing in the law of true potentiality, I started to reinvent myself into thinking - How Consciousness and Mind can affect the flow & how abundance is the divine right bestowed by God Almighty upon us.

I asked myself: What exactly is possible? How my potential skills & learning’s can serve the humanity with my learnt skills and talent.

Current State- the Year is 2020:

I am in a Natural State of Being – Living in Abundance. Consciously manifesting my destiny by harnessing the power of intention and meaningful coincidence.

Importance of living gratefully in a manner of living carefree, in love and unity to create an era of abundance around us.

Have I met all my needs? – Have I conquered all my desires?

Yes, at times – when I feel joy, good health, happiness with a sense of purpose and vitality in every moment of my existence. An overflowing fullness that influences every facet of our lives.

 My Message to You All:

We don’t have to seek abundance. We simply need to notice and open to what is already there and allow the bounty of the universe to flow thru us. Each of us experiences abundance every day in the bounded joy of our child- or the bright sun shine when we open our windows every morning, the many friends and family who are always there for us.

The gifts of nature are also examples of true abundance- Experience the waves in the sea, freshness of the leaves of the trees as we breeze by walking on the street, the twinkling stars that fill up our night sky.

ENJOY YOUR LIFE AS DESIRES OF YOUR HEART ARE ALWAYS AVAILABLE. THERE IS NO SCARCITY OR LACK. SHARE YOUR GIFTS WITH THE WORLD & YOUR FELLOW FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

LIVE FOR YOURSELF & NOT FOR OTHERS.
