End the year strong with these tips (don't kill me over #5!)
We have 25 days left before we say farewell to 2018.
Now is the time to start thinking about how you want to end the year and start the next year.
Here are some simple things you can do over the next few weeks to focus, get some things in order, and keep good energy flowing on and offline.
1. Start deleting old e-mails, text messages, and pictures (I use Google Photos as a back up) from your devices.
2. Scroll through your connections on social media (FB, IG, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) and start a round of deletions and unfollows. Let go of people who's lives you know you're not that interested in, don't inspire you, or are full of drama.
3. Clean out your closet and make a donation to your local shelter or sell your best pieces at a consignment store or online to make some extra cash to put towards your savings.
4. Hire a cleaning service (if you can swing it) to clean your home so you can use that time to rest, plan for the new year, or do something fun or productive.
5. Go through your book shelf and pick a handful of books you can gift to someone else with a note on why you chose it for them. (Book hoarders, I'm talking to you! I'm sure there's at least five books in your library you probably won't read again, that you can gift to someone else. Give it a try!)
These are only ideas, so do what works for you. As the year comes to a close, there's no better time to let go of the things that no longer serve you. ??
Big Smiles,
ALW
