End of Year Push: Business Trips & Booking for 2025
Beyond Billables
We're a strategy, branding and marketing agency for legal and professional firms.
And another one gone, and another one gone, and another one bites the dust… Months, that is.?
Yep, November is (for all intents and purposes) practically over, and into December we go – a month that for many of us, clients and ourselves included, can prove to be quite the juggle.?
Last month, we mentioned we were streamlining our efforts until next year, meaning we’re focusing on our current clients, our own growth, and booking new clients for 2025.?
In this month’s issue, we take a look at Mozilla’s new branding and reflect on the year that’s been – which for Mike, has meant many business trips that are continuing right into the last week before Christmas.?
Until next time!??
Mozilla Rebrand Embraces ‘Nostalgic Network’ Design Trend
When most of us hear ‘Mozilla’, we don’t tend to think trendy. For many people, Mozilla Firefox brings up memories reminiscent of other outdated search engines like Ask Jeeves and Bing.?
But the company had noticed negative brand connotations, and a huge rebrand now aims to make Mozilla the trendy browser, with a nod to pixel art and younger generations.?
The rebranding aims to position Mozilla as a broader force for an "open, accessible, and supportive internet," extending beyond its role as a browser developer to encompass its evolving range of services, resources, and vital digital rights initiatives.
A key element of the rebrand is a nostalgic nod to Mozilla’s roots in the early days of the internet. The brand’s updated colour palette, including a classic RGB green, further evokes the digital aesthetic of early computing.
The new logo is a flag symbol, inspired by Mozilla’s iconic “M” and its Tyrannosaurus Rex mascot, originally designed by Shepard Fairey.?
This logo, presented in a pixelated form, symbolizes Mozilla's activist spirit and commitment to digital rights and unity in the fight to “reclaim the internet.”

As Mozilla enters its next chapter, the rebranding is intended to lay the foundation for the next 25 years of championing an open and user-centric internet.
So, what do you think? Is the new brand image compelling enough to make you turn away from Google??
Business Trips Galore Until End of Year?
Mike here!
I’m excited to share that I have a packed calendar until Christmas, filled with business trips to Sydney and Melbourne! I’ll be meeting with clients to cover everything from content strategy to new initiatives, all while connecting with fresh leads across both cities.
While I’m always keen to strengthen relationships and collaborate on exciting projects, these trips are also a chance to explore fresh ideas and perspectives. Whether it’s discussing the latest trends in content strategy or exploring potential partnerships, I’m looking forward to productive discussions and, of course, a few good conversations over coffee (or perhaps a cheeky after-hours drink).
Face-to-face connections are more valuable than ever, and these upcoming trips give our agency the chance to dive deep into new ideas and strategies while meeting with some amazing people.?
If you're in Sydney or Melbourne, feel free to reach out for a catch-up while I’m in town!
