End of the year – Hubtek get together!

End-of-year office parties are a chance for everyone to come together and celebrate the accomplishments and achievements of the year. They are so much more than just “business-related”. Work Christmas parties are a great way to create opportunities for authentic conversations and bonding for employees and even clients.??

This month, after a couple of years of unique challenges presented by the pandemic, we were eager to get together and celebrate with our amazing team from all over the continent. We flew our teams from the US, Ecuador, Barranquilla, Cali, and Bogota to the wonderful city of Medellin, where the biggest part of the team is located, so we could all enjoy the sense of optimism brought in by the holiday season.??

Valentina Villa our People Experience Director said ¨ I also had the opportunity to meet my team from Barranquilla and Bogota. We have been working for more than a year without meeting face to face and it was great to share with them and celebrate together all the goals achieved in 2022.¨. This brings us great joy because we understand that with the tendencies of working from home it is difficult to meet the people you are working with but thanks to this wonderful reunion we were able to break the walls down and meet our team altogether.??

Anticipated by everyone, our end-of-year party took place on December 2nd, and everyone had a blast. It was the perfect opportunity to make our members feel valued, appreciated, and ready to face the challenges of 2023.??

With an amazing live band, delicious food, raffles, and even an award ceremony to recognize our members' hard work and effort, the celebration truly showed the passion we have for what we do and how much we appreciate every single person on our amazing team.??

Joel McGinley , our Managing Director, had a blast with this experience - being present at this event where different cultures got together to have fun and celebrate what we have accomplished throughout the year - and this is what he had to say: ¨I have never been a part of a team that is so engaged, passionate and committed to serving customers and each other as our team at HUBTEK. That certainly showed up in the way that they celebrated, non-stop dancing and having fun for six straight hours at last week's Christmas party.¨?

We are grateful to be part of a team that is as engaged, passionate, and committed as our entire Hubtek team and we look forward to the growth and opportunities the new year will bring.?

And at last but not less important we have our CMO, Andrew Gulovsen, MBA , telling us about his experience with this event, ¨ For me, the most powerful part of the Christmas Party was the people - being together with 400+ of our team (Accelerators and Associates) filled my heart and blew my mind. To see the connection of the team - it was like this big, beautiful, living, thriving organism - laughing, singing, dancing, and sharing in each others' success.? It filled me with pride to be a small part of this big, beautiful animal we call Hubtek.¨?
