Everbridge: a fast-growing global provider of SaaS-based critical communications and enterprise safety solutions are currently recruiting for an IT End User Technologist to be based in Budapest, Hungary. 

In this role as a Help Desk Support, you will be responsible for providing technical support to colleagues based in the Budapest as well as supporting our global employees across Europe. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with supporting C-Level Executives, VPs, Engineers and anyone else, regardless of their problem or their technical aptitude.

 About the Team:

Our Corporate IT team is comprised of IT professionals based all over the world. We are a group of fun-loving people’s people, who excel in making friends while getting the job done. 

Responsibilities:

We don’t use a tiered system, so you’ll handle any and all requests that come to the table. You’ll perform a wide range of duties from the lowliest printer mapping request, to new computer builds, all the way up to system migrations.

What you'll do:

  • Installing and configuring all end user hardware and software components to ensure usability
  • Verify functionality of hardware and software components
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in person, remotely and via phone
  • Assist employees with computer problems and answer their questions
  • Create accounts in Active Directory, Office365 and internal business applications as part of on-boarding and off-boarding users
  • Play an integral role in various projects and company initiatives like a security program, office moves, and Windows 10 migrations, and support Audio/Visual functions of the company
  • Write and take ownership of documentation on IT systems and processes that will be consumed by both customers and the team
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
  • Follow up with clients to ensure their systems are functional

What you'll bring:

  • Minimum 5 year of proven work experience as an IT Support or Desktop Support Technician
  • User account administration and troubleshooting in Active Directory and O365
  • Knowledge of IT fundamentals such as network protocols, DHCP, and DNS
  • Must be great at talking with people and building relationships
  • Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions
  • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
  • Customer-oriented attitude
  • Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments
  • Experience imaging and patching desktops, Windows/Mac/Linux
  • BS in Computer Science or another relevant field
