'What are you doing in the darkness?"...my friend asked.
"I was contemplating on the complexities of the world", I said
"Did you have lunch?"
"I had put some snacks in the Microwave and the current went out.....some idiot has taken over the power company it seems and he is testing.....I was reading an article written by an imbecile in the editorial page on his mentor as a great reformer......imagine a school dropout eulogizing on another fake as 'The Greatest'....I got a bad taste and tried to eat and the power goes kaput......know what? this power company is owned by another school dropout mentored and made a billionaire by the 'Greatest' in a couple of decades.......When you see and read all this, how can one be hungry?.....Do you know what Eugene Ionesco said about the blind followers.?.....
'The supreme trick of mass insanity is that it persuades you that the only abnormal person is the one who refuses to join in the madness of others, the one who tries vainly to resist. We will never understand totalitarianism if we do not understand that people rarely have the strength to be uncommon.'
"The political power helps the power mongers and creates the powerful and cuts the powers of the lowest to get themselves more power.".....this is a lesson from hungry mortal to the lesser mindless mortals around me.
'I think you’re hungry.......empty tummy churns out all this stuff....'
“No dear I am disgusted…….and have come to the end of tolerance.
"No, pal it stifles....He who has waited long enough will wait forever. And there comes the hour when nothing more can happen and nobody more can come and all is ended but the waiting that knows itself in vain." said Samuel Beckett.....
I just cannot endure fools deciding how to live and survive.......I am in fact waiting for the end of all misery.....I cannot tolerate school dropouts deciding my life for me.
“And in the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years.”-Abraham Lincoln

5 年It is not correct to think that a school drop out cannot be a successful businessman or that every successful businessman is unscrupulous and then retire to a corner, condemning them all through out the day. An optimist will search for alternative options to satisfy his hunger rather than condemning some one who is responsible for the power cut.Light a candle when it is dark or leave the darkness and go there where there is light. Many sit on the fence and wonder how the other side of the fence is greener.Instead they could water their own back yard to make it green or greener than the other side.

5 年Madam Subi, Could you please take a little trouble to explain the concept of " let us be the change we want to see in the world."
