The End To A New Beginning!!!

As I sit in my office taking a moment to remanence on where I am today and where I have come from to where I am going. I realize the industries I have been a part of from an entrepreneurial standpoint are all great industries that provide tremendous value to the clients and local communities in which they serve. What I also realize is that if you want to not only make change happen in your life and in the lives of others you must be the change needed. You must take that leap of faith no matter how many times you have tried and been successful or failed. When there is a calling upon your life and the Lord has prepared you through all your previous battles that were fought. You try to compromise and say things like I going to see how I can grow within an organization and bring my integrity, truth, honesty, experience, positive attitude, drive, accountability and work ethic to the organization. Only to realize that they don’t care see the bible talks about it in Luke 6:38 Give, and it will be given to you. See I live by this the more you give the more you receive but how do you live by something and almost everyone around you are takers first and are all about what’s in it for them.

What are you to do? Become frustrated? Conform to everyone else? Give up? Or Become your own boss and do it the way you want to do it and provide the kind of customer experience you should have grown accustomed to but has become a thing of past. That is exactly what I am going to do. I am going to let this great salary positioned go and 10X what I was making and do it the right way while providing others the opportunity to witness what it is like to take control of your own destiny. With most people being takers, they are always looking for the easy way to get something while providing the least amount of effort and that’s what a JOB (Just Over Broke) provides you. Most slack and never give their all at what they are doing but expecting the maximum benefit but are in the same place they have been for years with no plan of making an actual change. Now they talk about it all the time, but it is just all talk no works behind it.

I must admit I have been that person before and as I had some success as an entrepreneur prior to 2008 and then it was all taken away from me due to the economic downturn it taught me a lesson to not put all my eggs in one basket and to become better diversified. It also put FEAR back into me where I was looking for a JOB to give me the false sense of security I thought I needed. So, it can happen to anyone it is that powerful, but my God is more powerful. I leaned and continue to lean on his word and my path of getting back to where I am today has provided me a journey that I am so grateful for. I became a beast in the classroom during those trying times and obtained an education that I did not have previously obtaining my master’s degree. Sharpened my skills taking additional classes and workshops from the greats like Daymond John, Eric Thomas, John Maxwell, and others. I opened my own captive agencies with Farm Bureau Financial Services, State Farm and learned all I can about the financial services and P&C from a captive standpoint.

I also formed my own independent agency with Brown insurance and Pinnacle Path Financial LLC. This allowed me to master both different types of platforms and I became a master in sitting down at the kitchen tables with understanding the needs of the clients and always doing what’s best for them and their families. I understood the competition from the captive and independent platforms. I created my own networking groups and not waiting in line to become picked by other networking groups. I started to speak at local YMCA’s on a regular basis and other alternative high schools giving motivation and inspiration to children that are often forgotten about. I utilize my basketball skills to start a training program that exploded into several club teams and training that is still going on today in Phoenix, AZ. I utilized that as a platform to market myself to the community as a person who was making a difference and utilizing the game of basketball to reach the next generation.

 My next step was to understand how the leadership of the industry and that opportunity came with joining a firm in Phoenix where I was the Sales Manager of a new scratch agency. I soaked up as much as I could strengthening my knowledge and understanding the inner working of the industry from a leadership perspective. I was being recruited by several different organization and I took the opportunity to learn and understand the inner working of two other organization. One in which I became the Managing Director and due to several different circumstances, I was the leader of an organization in Atlanta, GA for 7 months and that prepared me for anything. My journey was almost complete. I was not home, and Kansas City was home, my mom was not living with my wife and I and as she aged this was a goal of mine. I made it a goal of mine to get back home and utilize my skills to complete my education with a firm to confirm what I have realized in Phoenix, Atlanta, and now Kansas City. I must be the change that I have always wanted.

I don’t want the pressures of having to meet quotas while trying to make everyone else believe the most important things is the clients but its all about the numbers first. Now I understand that this is a business but across the country, things are the same and pressure does two things it bust pipes or creates diamonds and there are only a few diamonds in each firm and the rest of the agents are part of a revolving door. That revolving door stops for me in 2019. I will create the change I have always wanted and through all my years of mastering my systems and process, it is time to implement them. Seal Team 6 LLC was formed and out ST6 is a group of companies called Client Centric Group an ST6 company. The focus will be on the overall client experience meeting them where they are today and taking them through a process that is Proven, Predictable, and Transferable to all as we strive to reach their goals together.

Organizations talk about best practices, they talking about best practices? All organizations talk about, we do it. So, as we embark on this new journey I ask for your support and prayers as we will do our part to create the change needed in the lives of so many people who deserve direction and education. An education a lot of times are not available or accessible to the people that are just trying to provide the best they can for their families and loved ones. We will provide full comprehensive planning for our clients protecting them from things seen and unseen. I am a child of God and he doesn’t manufacture junk or sponsor flops.
