Shipping Tip for the End of the Month: Planning ahead can save you money even when your rates are cheap. With everyone wanting to get freight off their dock by month end, carrier's volume increases drastically over the last few days of the month. More p/u's means less space in the truck, meaning more missed p/u's. Missed p/u's equals delays for the receiver... possibly costing you and them money from lost time.

Be Proactive. If the freight is ready now and can move now OR you know you can schedule it now, you might just save yourself the headache and give yourself a relaxing end of month.
