"The End of History"--Are Concentration Camps in the US Really a Thing of the Past?

In 1942, President Roosevelt signed Executive Order 9066. This resulted in the imprisonment of approximately 120,000 American citizens in concentration camps during World War II--based solely on their ethnicity. These US citizens were held as prisoners in remote military-style “camps”--all located in the US--surrounded by barbed wire.
