End of ceasefire and reimposition of blockade in Gaza
On 18 March, Israel unilaterally ended the ceasefire, launching airstrikes on Gaza that killed over 400 civilians and injured around 700.
During the ceasefire, Israel had killed at least 170 Gazans and maintained a blockade since 2 March, impeding the access of all goods, including humanitarian food convoys and essential medicine.
Until 25 March, all crossing points remained closed, and no safe zones had been established.
