The End of The Beginning

After over five years of relentless pursuit, a few sleepless nights, and a journey powered by bold visions, my time with 100X.VC has come to an end. It’s been more than just an investment endeavor; it’s been an experience crafted with the energy and ambition of some of the brightest founders in India.

All with One Goal: To Build Something Extraordinary

I started my career in Mumbai in 2004 and like most of my peers at that time, I thought the city was only a financial capital. While I worked with many great people across other cities, it wasn’t until I finally moved back to Mumbai in 2009 as a founding member of VCCEdge (acquired by News Corp in 2016) that I realized how fast the Venture Capital and private equity ecosystem was growing in India.

And that the city was more than just a finance hub!

The engineers, data scientists, and product managers I worked with in Mumbai over the next few years had been with companies like Ola , Zomato Google , Hewlett Packard Enterprise , InMobi and other disruptive ventures. They were just as technically talented as the ones in Silicon Valley or Bengaluru and often were more motivated and passionate!

That gave the confidence that a tech early-stage fund - can be built from Mumbai. Since 2019, we have invested USD 20MN in 180 companies across India. In the process, have impacted over 4,000 lives (jobs created). About 15% of our portfolio companies are now at Series A, and 5% have reached Series B—a remarkable testament to the vision and grit of each founder we’ve backed.

Together, with industry veterans, mentors, and well-wishers, we built the go-to early-stage seed fund from the ground up, a place for dreamers and doers alike.

To the co-founders, LPs, follow-on investors, and the trailblazing entrepreneurs I’ve had the privilege of working with - thank you ??. Your determination has been our engine, pushing us to aim higher and redefine the boundaries of early-stage investment.

I want to thank Sanjay Mehta , Ninad Karpe , Yagnesh Sanghrajka and Vatsal Kanakiya for having me on this spectacular ride together. Extremely proud of what we have been able to accomplish since 2019.

From day one, 100X.VC has been more than just capital; it’s been a masterclass in resilience, innovation, and an unmatched hustle that only true passion can fuel.

Working with 400+ founders has been both an honor and an education. We’ve walked together from concept to impact, creating real value and defying the odds at every step. And while the hours were long and the coffee was strong, every moment has been worth it.

I’m grateful for every lesson and every milestone along the way. Here’s to building, to dreaming bigger, and to the journey ahead.
