I'm confident that within the next 18 months, we're all going to stop talking about AI. Surely not, I hear you say, it's only just gotten started?
Indeed, it's not the end for the technology but I think incorporating AI will just be how ALL software is built. No new tools will be created without an underlying machine-learning model. Most tools will incorporate Large Language Models (LLMs) because they allow users to communicate naturally and get better results.
Companies will use open-source models and fine-tune them to gain market advantage in their chosen?field.
Hopefully, instead of branding mediocre products with an AI badge,?vendors will focus on providing genuine value and intelligent results rather than vanity solutions. Yes, AI job description generators I'm looking at you!!?????

1 年The anticipation of AI’s ubiquitous integration within software is certainly grounded in the rapid advancements we are witnessing. However, the crux of value generation doesn’t solely reside in the existence of AI technologies like LLMs; it hinges on the thoughtful restructuring of organizational processes to harness these tools effectively. As we move beyond the novelty of AI, the imperative should shift to re-engineering systems and workflows to truly capitalize on the technology’s potential. Only then can we transcend the veneer of “AI-enhanced” labels and deliver substantive, intelligent results that propel industries forward. AI is not just a tool to be adopted; it’s a catalyst that demands we rethink and elevate our operational paradigms.

1 年all software, apps, websites (if they will be a thing soon???), autonomous scripts. look at tsla theyre now training their FSG with videos of driving on different roads all around the states. they use robots to FIX broken down robots. A huge change is here and the tip of the iceberg to what we're going to see by 2030
