Afterthoughts: When I had a spiritual awakening over a decade ago, I had no idea the journey I was about to embark on. It has not been easy, but... has already been eternally rewarding. When I was called into the "deeper dive" of spiritual growth and learning, I was timid. No, I was scared. Not having grown up with faith, I knew the current ahead would be tough and unpredictable. And, I knew many would not understand the calling. How could they? The call was not audible. It was not loud and obvious. It was quiet, humble and unassuming. While I have sacrificed (passions, popularity, friends, jobs, etc), the gains in answering the call have far exceeded any temporal losses. The gold rich in knowledge and wisdom alone have been unfathomable. Unexplainable. Supernatural. Aside from all that comes with being an heir to the Kingdom, I now have the great opportunity to share with others what saved me. I am now able to use the divine gifts I've been entrusted with (which by the way, we ALL have) for others- for Him and for the greater good. I can tell you this, from someone who had to "see to believe," for someone who was once lost and didn't know the truth, the day He walked into my living room, the day the veil was lifted, life has never been the same. It hasn't been the same and it certainly doesn't look the same. There is indeed a 'peace and a joy that transcends our limited understanding,' that cuts through the darkest and most uncertain of times. And friend, listen to me, this Peace and joy is for every single one of us. Not just for me. Not just for your neighbor. For you and for everyone else who believes. I've devoted my life to it because once I surrendered my will for His - everything lost was restored. I don't know where this finds you today but know this... God loves you so much and He wants a relationship with you. No matter where you are or where you've been, He wants YOU. And get this, He will never leave or forsake you. He will delight in restoring all that has been taken from you. All you have to do is BELIEVE.

5 年Meisha Thank you for all you are doing. As you know, you have lost nothing and gained everything! Unfortunately, so many people live with the "veil", as you say, over our eyes. I pray your ministry will lift that veil for so many. Once the truth is seen it becomes so clear. God Bless you and the peace of Jesus be with you.

5 年Also stressing humility, and unique with Luke’s Gospel, was Jesus’ illustration about a tax collector and a Pharisee praying in the temple. Among other things, the Pharisee said, “I fast twice a week.” (18:9-14) The Law required only one annual fast. (Leviticus 16:29) But the Pharisees carried fasting to an extreme. The one in the illustration fasted on the second day of the week because that was thought to be the time when Moses went up into Mount Sinai, where he received the two tablets of the Testimony. He is said to have descended from the mountain on the fifth day of the week. (Exodus 31:18; 32:15-20) The Pharisee cited his semiweekly fasting as a proof of his piety. But this illustration should move us to be humble, not self-righteous.

5 年Even Paula White took a husband I'm not a rocker but a Godly man who can play a few instruments and preach. If it is to be you will see me in a vision if you have not already. Their are so many dynamic ministries but what set's us apart the fire of the Holy Spirit with all the gifts Meisha.
Photography is a joy but my passion is bringing forth memories that can be passed down for generations to come.
