Enabling early detection of cancer leveraging AI

Fitting well with the last article on Cancer Research and AI, see here yesterday's press release by the prestigious PSI (Paul Scherrer Institute) in partnership with ETH on Enabling early detection of cancer leveraging AI. "With their technique – using artificial intelligence – the scientists were able to distinguish between healthy and sick people with an accuracy of around 85 percent. Besides that, they managed to correctly determine the type of tumour disease – melanoma, glioma, or head and neck tumour. This is the first time anyone, worldwide, has achieved this.”
