Applying Cloud in ADAS to fight against COVID19.

Corona virus epidemic is having a huge negative impact on all industries including automotive. When we talk about ADAS related projects then impact is huge because many investors who were willing to fund ADAS projects of self-driving vehicles are now curbing their fund or investing in diversified market. Therefore, OEMs are delaying the autonomous vehicle projects and eventually Tier-1 suppliers like #Denso, #Bosch, #Continental, #Valeo etc. are facing the impacts on the ADAS product portfolio which includes products like Camera, Radar, Sonar, Lidar and fusion system as well.

I agree that Technology cannot prevent the onset of the pandemics; but it can help in prevention of the spread, educate & provides the alarm in advance to take effective countermeasure. 

This is the time to think beyond the box and develop the systems, which provides more safety, comfort to driver & passenger. It has been a while I am continuously thinking about passenger safety and comfort to cope the situation like Corona virus pandemic.

  I am just opening a vague idea to install human body temperature sensor inside the vehicle so that a Taxi caller can get the health status of past passenger who has used the taxi and the sensitization status of the taxi itself.
