Enable differentiated connectivity
Ericsson Software
Welcome to the exciting world of telecom software. Join the conversation!
As 5G rollouts accelerate across the globe, new use cases are emerging — allowing communication service providers (CSPs) to significantly expand their service offerings to both businesses and consumers. But while 5G opens the door to new opportunities, it also brings rise to new challenges and complexities.??
Welcome to the summer edition of our newsletter, where you can:?
Dive into the insights?
Navigate your journey to successful IT transformation?
The evolution of OSS/BSS systems has the potential to greatly transform the telecommunications industry. However, this transformation will require rethinking not only the OSS/BSS systems themselves but also the traditional business and operational models that support them.?
With innovative approaches becoming necessary to unlock the full revenue potential of open and programmable networks — discover what success looks like when navigating an IT transformation.?
Fuel innovation with service orchestration and assurance?
Advanced communication and differentiated connectivity services are driving the rapid transformation of service experiences around us. But without service orchestration and assurance, none of this is possible.?
Discover how service orchestration and assurance enable providers to profitably seize opportunities created by advanced connectivity services, and hear from world-leading service providers who are pioneering innovative new possibilities.
How to take an operational approach to network slicing?
As network slicing continues to stand out as a pivotal strategy for CSPs looking to seize revenue opportunities, OSS/BSS systems must get ready to operationalize new use cases. Whether that’s scaling network slicing profitability or aligning business outcomes with operational processes — a structured operational enablement approach is necessary to align slicing capabilities across business, technical, and operational domains, transforming the existing operating model.??

Rogers: 5G network slicing to deliver superior service experiences??
Discover how Rogers transformed their network operations with Ericsson's Service Orchestration and Assurance . Facing challenges in innovation, service adaptation, and operational efficiency, Rogers partnered with 爱立信 to implement Dynamic Network Slicing.
This solution enabled quick commercialization of 5G services, enhanced service quality, and automated network lifecycle management. Explore how Rogers now offers diverse next-gen services — from healthcare to gaming — ensuring superior service experiences and fostering a robust 5G ecosystem in Canada.?
Analysys Mason: Drive commercial success through enhanced CPQ?
As CSPs enter non-telecom B2B services in search of new revenues, they face competitors who offer superior customer experience, self-service and faster responses for quotes. For CSPs to compete in this market, they need to upgrade their legacy systems and face siloed data that isn’t fit for purpose.??
This report from Analysys Mason discusses the most effective solution: a single ‘configure, price, quote’ (CPQ) process.?Read it now.

3 个月Focus on IT transformation and OSS/BSS evolution is spot-on. In my experience, legacy systems are often the biggest roadblock to innovation in telecom. It's not just about upgrading tech, entire business models and operational processes needs to be rethought. I'm glad they highlighted service orchestration and assurance. As networks become more complex with 5G, this becomes crucial. I've seen firsthand how proper orchestration can make or break service quality. Network slicing is another interesting area. Ericsson is right to emphasize its potential for CSPs. Allowing for tailored network segments for specific use cases. However, implementing it effectively requires careful alignment across multiple domains. The Rogers case study was interesting. It's always valuable to see how these technologies play out in the real world. Their success with Dynamic Network Slicing shows the tangible benefits of these innovations when implemented well.
