En Route

En Route

Pas Normal Studios rolls out En Route, a dedicated pre-owned marketplace. The platform is a milestone in the company's impact journey.

Pas Normal Studios now offers a platform, En Route, that gives users a simple and secure way to resell items from the brand's collections.

“En Route extends the lifetime of our clothes, creating a unique marketplace for transactions that are already happening out there. We know there is a large reselling market for our kit, so we want to bring the Pas Normal Studios experience to that arena as well,” says Peter Lange, CEO of Pas Normal Studios.

“As a brand we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products, knowing that there’s a real value when used, cared for, repaired, shared and resold,” says Peter Lange.

To minimise the environmental impact of Pas Normal Studios’ products, the brand encourages users to look after their products. Once they no longer have a use for the jersey, jacket or other items, they can easily ensure that it is passed on to someone who will make good use of it.?

“Another added benefit of offering a service like En Route is that we prioritise product longevity when designing new collections and styles. Moving us further away from the current ‘take-make-dispose’-way of thinking and towards a Circular Economy,” says Charles H. Clarke, Social & Environmental Impact Lead at Pas Normal Studios.

The En Route platform is open for buyers and sellers in Denmark initially, but the platform is scheduled to expand to other markets in Europe and North America as well.

Very exciting stuff! I hope to see it flourish and that you end up selling well-used kits with years left in them. I hope this also means that people can sell their kits from older collections. As I understand it, there is no quality control from PNS and the shipment is peer-to-peer. Are their any ways of guaranteeing that fake products are not sold on the platform?
