En Gold Founder and Directors Steffanie and Matt Ball?turned a 30 year old automotive workshop into a creamy tonal oasis for the new En Gold Studio. The process has been a complete labour of love, being designed by the two founders with Steffanie coming from a career in Interior Design.?
The En Gold Studio is based in a humble industrial estate amongst small businesses alike sharing a sense of community. Located in Braeside, just 40 minutes from Melbourne CBD.

"After months of searching for our new studio space, we considered many areas that would be typical in the furniture industry, however, staying true to En Gold, we ultimately found a hidden gem amongst our own Bayside community, where we live and raise our children. It's the perfect meeting point between my hometown on the Mornington Peninsula and Metro Melbourne. With humble surrounds, I knew straight away that it was the perfect fit."?Steffanie Ball.
With the space originally being an old automotive workshop it could be tricky for anyone to see through the oil-stained floors, dated tiled walls and vinyl wrapped walls to see it's potential. Steffanie and Matt looked beyond this and saw a vision for the space.
"When it came to viewing the property, I formed an instant connection with, not only the space, but the owner, who had lovingly grown his business within the building for generations. He often spoke of the "good luck" the property has ingrained within it's walls whilst he emotionally passed the baton on to En Gold."

Now transformed?into a calming and tonal space, the inspiration stayed very true to the En Gold style- a balance of contemporary and nostalgic style, a tonal oasis to showcase our furniture and wares. Tucked away in a humble industrial community of small businesses, Steffanie and Matt found comfort in the?unpredictable and offbeat location for a furniture brand, not to mention it's convenient location between the Bayside suburbs and Mornington Peninsula, where Steffanie grew up.?
