Emtek Celebrates 25 Years in Business

2019 marks a milestone for the business and I'm excited to be able to share some of our story.

History & Foundation

Founded in 1994 by my father Eddie McKee, Emtek began by supplying lengths of Armco Crash Barrier to the emerging highways sector in Northern Ireland. In 1997 I joined the business to market a range of road and footpath repair materials whilst studying at University.   By 2000 the company was supplying orders to customers across Northern Ireland and also the Greater Dublin area. In 2007 I had the opportunity to step into the leadership of the company and was able to further grow and develop the company into a national operation, working with clients in every county in Ireland, providing industry leading products to the highways, workplace safety and perimeter protection markets.

Leadership & Growth

Today I continue to lead the business alongside Garry Archer, who joined the company 10 years ago with a strong construction and engineering background, helping Emtek to acquire new contracts and build greater relationships with clients across Ireland.

Day to day operations are overseen by the companies General Manager, Emer McVeigh, who has been a senior member of staff for the last 11 years. Emer has a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the firms products, supply chain, operations and finances.

Full Service

We are constantly improving the service we provide to our clients which is why we have invested heavily on a strong team of sales, customer support and site teams. This allows us to deliver hundreds of projects each year across Ireland.
