Huge fines for parking in charging bays
A new law in Australia's state New South Wales will charge petrol and diesel car owners with fines of up to a $2,200 if they park in dedicated EV charging bays.
Hubject and EvGateway enter into roaming agreement
Hubject has announced a cooperation with charging infrastructure provider EvGateway for North America and Europe. EvGateway will join the Intercharge network and also uses other Hubject services.

With the acquisition of evpass, Shell is now in a leading position in the local EV charging market. This acquisition allows Shell to further expand its position and offer EV drivers access to the largest network of public charging stations in Switzerland.
Apple CarPlay next generation release in late 2023
Apple will be launching a new version of CarPlay in late 2023 starting with 14 car brands. One highlight is the widget feature, which for example could be used by eMSP services to inform the driver about the next recommended charging station.?
