Empowerment Through Health and Wellness
February is Black History Month, a time to acknowledge the significant history, achievements, and contributions of Black Americans throughout our nation.?
This month provides an opportunity to honor the pioneers, activists, and everyday individuals whose efforts have influenced progress and change. By reflecting on their stories, we can enhance our understanding of equality and justice, motivating us to work towards a more inclusive future.
As 2025 unfolds, many of us are likely working on our personal growth journeys. While some days are better than others, engaging in healthier lifestyles through various activities and resources is essential to ensure we remain healthy and focused on our goals.
To that end, I present Healthy Diamond Bar – a community health and wellness initiative launched in 2018. This comprehensive well-being initiative provides year-round programs, activities, or incentives to encourage community members of all ages to adopt healthy habits and achieve healthier and happier lifestyles. Every month, the City offers a fun and engaging activity for various ages and fitness levels. As a bonus, new participants receive a free T-shirt when they attend their first Healthy Diamond Bar activity. There is no cost to participate, but advance registration is required.
