This is good! Empowerment also goes with responsibility. If the team member does not follow through then they do not know they missing the whole point of empowerment. The greatest science we are really revisiting is self knowledge. Knowledge is power. Knowledge comes from experience. Experience comes from doing. As a leader it is always people and process. Consistency, adaptability, and perspective allow for growth. If the leader can follow their own lead, then they can grow to helping others follow their own lead and see their own self worth.
