I understand how challenging it can be to live in a world where we are constantly bombarded by societal norms and expectations. Like many of you, I've walked the path of conformity, adhering to rules that were set by others, believing that this was the only way to achieve success and happiness. But let me tell you, living a life dictated by external expectations often leads us away from our true selves. It's like wearing a mask that never quite fits. I empathize with this struggle because I've lived it. But it's crucial to realize that this is not the only path.
I've seen firsthand how striving to meet these external expectations can cost us dearly. We suppress our aspirations and happiness, often without even realizing it. We become actors in a play written by someone else, losing sight of our unique script. I've been there, living a life that was more about fulfilling others' definitions of success rather than my own. It's a life that can feel safe, but it's often a beige existence, devoid of the vibrant colors of our true passions and desires.
I cannot stress enough the importance of self-discovery. It's a journey that is as daunting as it is liberating. To break free from the chains of societal or self-imposed limitations, you must first embark on a quest to understand who you truly are, separate from the roles and expectations imposed upon you. This journey isn't easy. It involves asking hard questions and being willing to listen to the sometimes-whispered answers from within. But it's in this process of self-reflection and discovery that we find our true north.
Breaking away from societal norms and expectations is an act of courage. It's about writing your own rulebook, one that aligns with your values, passions, and aspirations. I encourage you to dare to take control of your life. Make decisions that resonate with your authentic self, not just those that are expected or deemed 'normal' by society. It's about choosing the path less traveled, the one that might scare you but excites you at the same time. Remember, every great adventure begins with a step outside of your comfort zone.
Pursuing what genuinely makes you happy, rather than settling for a conventional life, is not selfish; it's essential. Happiness is not a one-size-fits-all concept. What brings joy to one person might not to another. I urge you to explore what happiness means to you. Dive deep into your passions, no matter how unconventional they might seem. The pursuit of genuine happiness is a journey worth taking, and it's never too late to start.
I empathize deeply with those of you who are on this journey. Breaking free from long-held beliefs and stepping into the unknown is not without its challenges and fears. But remember, it's in facing these fears that we grow and transform. You're not alone in this journey. Many have walked this path before you, and many will walk it after you. Draw strength from their stories and the knowledge that your journey is uniquely yours.
I encourage you, with all my heart, to reclaim your autonomy and pursue your true desires. Let go of the weight of external expectations and embrace the freedom of living authentically. It's a path that leads to a richer, more fulfilling life. You have the power to redefine your life, to paint it with the colors of your true self. Embrace this journey with open arms, and watch as your world transforms into one that is uniquely and wonderfully yours.
Let me tell you something that might change the way you see the world and yourself in it. Each one of us has been handed a script since the day we were born, a script written by society, by expectations, by the so-called 'norms'. We’ve been told how to act, what to pursue, and even what to dream. But I want to ask you, have these scripts brought you true happiness? Or have they confined you in a box, limiting the boundless potential you hold within? You see, the reality is, you are not bound to live a life dictated by others. Your life is an incredible canvas, and you, my friend, are the artist. It's time to pick up that brush and start painting your masterpiece, a life that resonates with your deepest desires and truest self.

I always wanted to go to school learn but I wasn’t able 2 my parents put us my brothers and sisters to work I started at 8 years old. I wanted to go to school but we where seasonal workers so there was no time for school then I became a mother at 16 I raised 5 children a lone not until this year I found out I had heart failure I was depressed but then instead of feeling sorry for myself I saw the chance to learn as much as possible. The more I learn I look for different things to try I read all y’all put on this website it’s amazing what everyone does. I do it to help others not to become rich don’t get me wrong it would be amazing to have money but if not possible I want to help so they don’t struggle as much as I did.
