Hi,I am Aben Thomas. Here I’m going to share my experience on the youth speak forum 2023.As I walked into the Youth Speak Forum 2023, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. This was the event that I had been waiting for all year, and I was finally here! The energy in the room was palpable, as young people from all over the world gathered to share their ideas and insights on how to make a positive impact on the world. As I made my way through the crowds, I was struck by the diversity of the participants. There were people from every corner of the globe, each with their unique perspectives and experiences. It was clear that this was not just another conference – this was a space where young people could come together and truly be heard. The first session of the day focused on the theme of "innovation for social change". We heard from a range of speakers, from social entrepreneurs to tech innovators, who shared their experiences of using innovation to tackle some of the world's most pressing social and environmental challenges.

"the energy in the room was palpable"

One speaker even had us all laughing as he shared his hilarious but effective approach to reducing plastic waste! But it wasn't all serious business at the Youth Speak Forum 2023. In between the sessions, we had the chance to connect with other participants and take part in some fun activities. From games to workshops, there was always something going on to keep us engaged and inspired. As the day drew to a close, we came together for a final session on the theme of "youth leadership for sustainable development". We heard from young leaders who were making a real impact in their communities, from promoting renewable energy to advocating for gender equality. It was truly inspiring to see what young people can achieve when given the opportunity and support to lead. As I left the Youth Speak Forum 2023, I felt energised and inspired.

"I am so proud of all the ideas we shared and the connections we made."

I had met so many amazing people and learned so much about the power of youth to drive positive change. It was clear that this was just the beginning – there is so much more that we can do to create a sustainable and just future for all. But one thing was certain – I was already looking forward to next year's event!

Now, I just wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude to Youth Speak 2023 and AIESEC for inviting us to join this incredible event. It was truly an unforgettable experience, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to learn from and connect with so many amazing people from around the world.

nd of course, a huge thanks to all the students who joined me at Youth Speak 2023. You all made this experience even more special and unforgettable. I am so proud of all the ideas we shared and the connections we made.
