Mastercard's India Women Returnship Program is a testament to our commitment to supporting and empowering women who have taken a career break and wish to re-enter the workforce.

Meet Kuldeep Bharani who joined us as a Manager, Finance Business Partner under our India Women Returnship Program. Her core responsibilities revolve around Customer Relationship Management, including generating Voice of Customer Insights, building knowledge in GBSC capabilities, leading projects and programs, and providing expert consultation.

Q1: Why did you choose to work at Mastercard?

As a mid-career professional wanting to restart my career, I was mindful of my priorities and selective of the organization I wanted to work with. Along with being an esteemed Global Brand renowned for its diverse initiatives, I chose Mastercard on getting honest encouraging feedback from its employees and my initial interactions with HR and Management were just as reassuring.

Q2: How has Mastercard's culture supported your career growth and development?

I was provided with a range of resources to support my growth every step of the way because at Mastercard we believe work experience means nothing without life experience. A structured program along with comprehensive learning resources, on-the-job training, and coaching enabled me as a returner to build on my skills and previous experience. Development plans and discussions give me a clear sense of direction in progressing towards my career aspirations.
