As we close Women's History month, I feel compelled to discuss some of the great challenges that women face today, even more so, women of color. In light of the work I do as an Executive Coach, and I have observed that most of the executive women that I coach feel undervalued. Women in general are already navigating a complex world, juggling careers, families, and personal aspirations and the pressure to perform is even more so for women of diverse ethnic groups because they do not feel appropriately seen or heard. This can lead to a unique set of challenges that can feel overwhelming at times. Thankfully, coaching offers a powerful tool for women to overcome these hurdles and achieve their goals. My goal is to be available to help them navigate even their most difficult times.
