Empowering Women in Renewable Energy: Spotlight on Khushboo Goyal’s Inspiring Work

At the Women Energize Women Conference 2023 in Munich, we proudly introduced our #WomenEnergize ambassadors—women dedicated to fostering gender balance and empowerment in the renewable energy sector worldwide.

Today, we’re excited to kick off a new series highlighting the impactful projects of these inspiring women, starting with Khushboo Goyal , Associate Director at India Infrastructure Publishing Private Limited and a driving force behind Renewable Watch Magazine .

Championing Women in Energy

Within her work at Renewable Watch Magazine, Khushboo initiated a platform designed to amplify women’s voices and experiences in the energy sector. This initiative uses in-person roundtables, panel discussions, and a dedicated media column profiling women in clean energy, including entrepreneurs, leaders, and consultants. Topics covered include policy, technology, and finance, alongside Q&A sessions with industry leaders.

This initiative targets young women beginning their careers and aspiring leaders, with the following impact goals:

Insights from the 'Women in Solar' Session

At the 17th edition of the Solar Power Conference in May 2024, Khushboo moderated an insightful session on ‘Women in Solar’. On the panel speakers such as Nidhi Gupta , Co-founder and Director, Rays Power Experts Pvt Ltd. ; Sarabhjit Kaur , Deputy Country Head, India, EDF Renouvelables ; and Mani Khurana , Senior Energy Specialist, 世界银行 talked about their professional journeys and experiences in the energy sector.
