Empowering Women Leaders: My Journey as a Co-Author of the #SheleadsBook

When Rhodah A. Kaoko of ZionPearl Publishers called to request me to be part of #Sheleads book project as one of the co-authors, I was in the middle of a frustrating back and forth with my supervisor at Regent Business School working on my dissertation.

This was in addition to the new start-up 20X Entrepreneurs, - I call it new because at the time it was less than one year old.

I could not imagine adding one more item to my already full hands. Having been a two time Author, I know what it takes to write.

It requires fresh mind and that you get off your busy schedule to focus.

Where was I going to get the time?

After careful reflection and analysis, I said yes to becoming a co-author of this amazing project.

Last week we Launched the #Sheleads Volume two

And now as I pen this journal, am over 31,000 feet above sea level, reading the transformational stories of the wonderful women- my fellow co-authors (You need to read the book, it's very easy and diverse.)

On my way to Durban for my MBA graduation ??I must admit that the scripture Isaiah 40:31 is very live to my life, "But they that wait upon the?Lord?shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint"

Human beings truly have great capacity to stretch to lengths that none of us understands.
