Stories… stories. We’re surrounded by them.
Sometimes they’re the major headliners, the ones with the big celebrities and epic wow factor that leaves everyone reeling. Those are the well-known ones that people know and love.
But sometimes they’re the incredible stories floating right under our noses: the tales of the unsung heroes of our everyday lives. The gritty uprising of the underdog, the silent battles lost and won, the untold crusades for a better, brighter future. These are the stories that people need to hear.
This week on Yes Factor, we’re so honored to be spotlighting award-winning journalist, speaker, philanthropist, and founder of her own social documentary production platform, Soledad O’Brien. She is here to share with us the value of uncovering the buried stories around us and the weight they bear for our global community. Her own path to “yes!” in the media industry also contains incomparable nuggets of wisdom that I must say are a must-hear for our audiences. Check out our brand-new episode here:

“It’s been a really interesting ride, every step of the way I’ve had a chance to work again on those stories that I cared about, and I think those stories have also become the ‘A-block’ stories: the stories about how people are living.”
- Soledad O’Brien

2 年Loved this episode, Winnie! Thanks for sharing.
I met Soledad years ago, when she was a honoree for a charity where I served on the board. She is lovely and authentic.
