Dear All,
As the roots of a tree reach deep into the earth to provide stability and nourishment, so too must we provide support and guidance to our youth to help them grow and reach their full potential.
Let us reject the fallacy that youth are the leaders of tomorrow and embrace the truth that they are the leaders of today.
It is our shared responsibility to give them the chances and help they need to do well.
Practical Recommendations for Youth Progress:
For the #Youth:
4. Engage in community service: The youth must give back to their communities by engaging in community service. This can be done by volunteering, organizing community events, or providing support to those in need.

For the #Government:
Let us celebrate the impact that #innovativevolunteerism has already had on the youth of Africa.
By inspiring youth to retool their #skills and learn how to drive environmental solutions, #innovativevolunteerism has already helped thousands of young people to become agents of change in their communities. For example, converting agricultural waste into briquettes to replace charcoal and reduce indoor pollution.
Over 30,000 young people have already taken the initiative to find answers to some of the most important problems our continent is facing.
Like the rays of the sun that bring light and warmth to the world, let us shine our support and encouragement on our youth and help them to reach their full potential.
