WinKong Marine Successfully Delivers D-Performance Ship Energy Efficiency Monitoring System

To comply with the industry's trend toward "Green, Digital, and Intelligent" development, as well as to enhance digital management capabilities, improving both economic and social benefits for the clients.WinKong Marine recently completed the installation of D-Performance Ship Energy Efficiency Monitoring System on a 50,000 tons oil tanker owned by a Dubai shipowner at a shipyard in Zhoushan. The project was successfully completed, allowing for automatic gathering of ship and equipment efficiency data, as well as automatic verification of MRV and DCS compliance. Notably, this is the first in a succession of D-Performance systems that WinKong Marine will install across the shipowner's fleet.

The D-Performance Ship Energy Efficiency Monitoring System offers key functions including CII monitoring and forecasting, equipment efficiency evaluation, and fuel management and so on. It automatically gathers and monitors real-time data on fuel consumption, M/E shaft power, equipment operation and alert status, computes and estimates the CII, analyzes efficiency of key equipment and energy-saving equipment, and continuously provides dynamic energy efficiency optimization recommendations for ?ships. Furthermore, D-Performance automatically transfer the relevant data to DNV Veracity Platform & ClassNK MRV Portal based on ISO 19848 data standard, enable customers to easily get the veritification of MRV, IMO DCS.

WinKong Marine promptly replied to the shipowner's urgent request to install the D-Performance Ship Energy Efficiency Monitoring System, with all departments working closely together. The SmartEco Institute conducted an on-board survey and began developing the retrofit plan as quickly as feasible. The Centralized Procurement Platform sped up the purchase of sensors, as well as other ship gear and consumables. Engineering&Technology Service Group, in collaboration with the IIoT Department Team, worked tirelessly to complete the installation, commissioning, and operating training for the D-Performance system in just 8 days. This entailed installing 6 mass flow meters, a ?M/E shaft power meter and related equipment, allowing for the automatic gathering of operational and efficiency data, including fuel consumption for M/E, A/E and boilers, M/E shaft power, AMS, GPS, and more.

During the installation, WinKong Marine got an urgent request from the shipowner to install CCTV systems. Within two days, CCTV was installed in the bridge, control room, engine room, and deck areas, allowing for real-time surveillance between the ship and land.
