She mentioned, when it comes to fighting human trafficking, it's important to know where your support will make the most impact. Organizations that are truly making a difference are often survivor-led and survivor-engaged. These are the groups on the front lines, getting things done because they understand the reality of trafficking from personal experience. Consider supporting organizations like Free to Fly, We Fight Monsters, and Flanders Fields, where your donations directly support those actively working to save lives.
Her thoughtful words to survivors who are reading this is, remember: You don't have to share your story to be part of the movement. It's okay to keep some parts of your experience private. When you do choose to share, it's crucial to do so in a way that is both beneficial and safe for you and others. Trauma-informed storytelling is a powerful tool, and Kristin mentioned that sharing strategically, without retraumatizing yourself or others, is key. Kristen's mom was a professional storyteller, and from her, she's learned the importance of telling stories that educate and empower without causing harm.
One incredible resource available to parents is the Parenting with a Purpose training. This free program is designed to help parents learn how to protect their children from predators. It covers everything from identifying potential dangers to how to intervene effectively. The training is age-appropriate, so there’s guidance on how to talk to even the youngest children, starting at four years old.
We must start with our children, teaching them what is safe and what is not. Simple steps, like using Gab phones that are safe for children and engaging in open conversations about safety, can make a big difference. The more we educate our kids, the better equipped they will be to protect themselves in a world where they are especially vulnerable.
Thank you for your continued support. Together, we can empower survivors, protect our children, and create a safer future for everyone.

5 个月Pay attention to the violation of women's rights in Tunisia. Tunisia seems to be a civilized Arab country but it is not. I am an eyewitness. I share my drama, but there are many women in a similar situation here, too many. Help stop the humiliation of women in Tunisia and the deprivation of their due rights.
