In a significant step towards fostering international collaboration in healthcare, the Filipino Nursing Diaspora (FiND) Network has recently appointed five Filipino nurses as country representatives. Each is poised to champion nursing excellence and advocate for the profession's advancement globally.
Among these distinguished individuals is John Paul Ben Silang, PhD, RN , the Director of Nursing Research at Hamad Medical Corporation, representing Qatar. With a wealth of experience and expertise in nursing research, JP is committed to promoting evidence-based practices and elevating the standards of nursing care in Qatar.
Dr. Mark Donald Re?osa , a doctoral researcher at Heidelberg University, now stands as the representative for Germany. His dedication to advancing nursing knowledge through research makes him a valuable asset to the FiND Network's mission of promoting excellence in nursing education and practice.
Dr Maria Mares PhD, RN, BN (Hons) , a sessional academic at Western Sydney University, has been appointed as the country representative for Australia. Drawing from her academic experience, Maria is committed to nurturing the next generation of nurses and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in Australian healthcare.

Professor Al Biag, EdD, MEd, MAN, RN , Vice President for Academic Affairs at Holy Angel University, proudly represents the Philippines. With a deep-rooted passion for nursing education and leadership development, Dr. Al is dedicated to empowering Filipino nurses and ensuring their voices are heard globally.
