As an educator committed to excellence in teaching and learning, I designed the Capacity Building Program for newly recruited faculty members at Baba Farid Group of Institutions (BFGI) to align with the transformative goals of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. This initiative reflects my belief that empowering educators is essential for creating dynamic, inclusive and student-centered classrooms. Through this program, we aim to equip our faculty with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in today’s evolving educational landscape.
The NEP 2020 emphasizes the need for a transformative approach to education, calling for a shift toward student-centered learning, the use of modern technologies and inclusive practices. Newly recruited faculty members, especially those who may not have extensive teaching experience, require specialized support and training to meet these demands. With this program we seek to nurture a holistic set of competencies enabling our educators to effectively implement NEP 2020 principles in their classrooms.
