Dear Friends and Supporters,
As I reflect on the journey of Crimson Liberation Hub , my heart swells with a mix of emotions—pride, hope, and a deep sense of purpose. Our mission to end menstrual stigma and period poverty has taken us to places and stories that are as heartbreaking as they are inspiring.
Recently, our projects have brought us to the doors of schools like Mayera M/A JHS and Afiaman Presby School, Ghana, where we met young girls who face unimaginable challenges each month with regards to menstruation. These girls, full of dreams and potential, have been using rags or pieces of old cloth and tissues in place of sanitary pads—materials that no one should have to rely on. Hearing their stories of shame and missed opportunities has been both sobering and motivating. It is for these girls that my Crimson Liberation Hub is driven to make a difference.
Our visits go beyond just providing reusable sanitary pads which they can use for 2 years. We engage with the community and local primary schools, educating over 1,000 girls, parents and teachers on menstrual hygiene management. We emphasize the importance of dignity, confidence, and support. The relief and gratitude on the faces of these young girls when they receive the reusable pads are indescribable. It’s more than just a product; it's a symbol of hope and a step towards a better future.
We owe immense gratitude to Impact Week and Heritage Christian University for their unwavering support and empowerment. Your belief in our vision has been instrumental in our progress. Special thanks to Katrin Schreiber , Melissa W?rner , Stephanie Siegl , and Lyndal Moeller for their generous support and donations, which is pivotal in driving our mission forward.
We are committed to supporting SDGs 1 (No Poverty), 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), 4 (Quality Education), 5 (Gender Equality), and 10 (Reduced Inequalities) by ensuring every girl can manage her period with dignity. Your support and belief in our mission are what make these incredible strides possible. Together, we are not just addressing a need; we are creating a movement.
