Empowering Communities: A Glimpse into Bharatcares' Journey as a Social Service NGO on World NGO Day

The concept of daana (charity/giving) and seva (service) being common from the early days is depicted in the history of India. Throughout the beginning of time, people have performed religion or established giving in a religious approach. Giving was viewed as a sacrifice and an offering, first to the gods and subsequently, in the form of seva, to the people.

Eventually, this act was formalised and transformed into humanitarian groups, both formal and informal, that served as social servants in charge of advancing society and attempting to free the poor from the cycle of poverty.

The National Council for Women in India (1875), the Friend-in-Need Society (1858), Prathana Samaj (1864), Satya Shodhan Samaj (1873), Arya Samaj (1875), and the Indian National Conference (1875) are just a few of the organisations that were founded during 1887 and were among the oldest NGOs in India. Today, there are more than 3 million organisations registered around the nation, India has one of the largest NGO sectors in the world.

Since the first World NGO Day was held in 2014, it has been annually observed worldwide with a range of events and activities. Education, poverty reduction, health care, human rights, and environmental sustainability are some of the main topics of World NGO Day.

Bharatcares (CSRBOX Foundation) is one of the social impact NGOs that has been contributing towards the development and welfare of society through its initiatives. We believe in innovations, technology, and scale for providing solutions to the problems that we as a society have been grappling with. BharatCares works as a social solution bridge for communities, innovators and funders to get the best implementation model in place. We strive to provide better education, health, employability skills, and entrepreneurial ecosystem support to underprivileged communities.?

Bharatcares is determined to fulfill its mission and strives to facilitate all possible assistance to the community. Like all other NGOs, our motive is also to serve kindness and opportunities to underserved people. So far we have majorly impacted people in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Delhi/NCR, Haryana, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra. However, our willingness to expand beneficiary reach has not stopped, we strategize to expand our horizon. We have aided rural communities, women and children through our various initiatives.??

Bharatcares endeavours to touch upon the lives of underserved children, youth, women, and rural communities among many others with our grassroots efforts and initiatives. We have supported students struggling in their education due to a lack of resources, assisted small entrepreneurs to expand their reach with capacity building and skills development, and served young girls with job readiness skills and capabilities to script their own success stories.
