Empowering Communities: Asia Asset Finance's CSR Water Facility Program in Akarana

We are thrilled to share the success of our recent CSR initiative, a water facility program in Akarana, a village located in the Kiran Koralaipattu Division, launched on the 18th of July 2024.
Understanding the Need
Akarana is a rural area home to 77 families who face significant challenges with drinking water, especially during the scorching summer months. Currently, the village relies on three water supply locations. However, only one remains functional during the dry season, leaving the other two sources dry and the community struggling for this basic necessity.
Our Solution
Asia Asset Finance stepped in with a comprehensive solution to ensure a reliable water supply for Akarana. Our proposal included the installation of water pumps and a 15-foot steel cage with a tank on the common water well. This system is designed to provide a steady and sustainable water supply, even during the harshest weather conditions.

The implementation of this water facility program marks a significant milestone for the residents of Akarana. By addressing their urgent need for clean drinking water, we are not only improving their quality of life but also empowering them to thrive in their environment.
