Empowering Baristas Globally, One Coffee Wristband at a Time. - Helping barista with leukemia in China.

I’M NOT A BARISTA is a not-for-profit organization committed to supporting baristas globally, and we are proud to announce that we recently utilized the profits generated from our coffee wristbands to aid a Chinese barista, Xiaoya Su, who was suffering from leukemia. Our charity partners in China worked closely with us, and as a result, we were able to donate $1490 USD to help her obtain the necessary assistance needed for her condition.

We were touched by the incredible support shown by the Chinese coffee community for our cause, resulting in the sale of 800 wristbands within just two months. The success of this initiative has enabled us to make a meaningful difference in Xiaoya Su's life as she battled a severe health condition.

While we understand that the amount we donated may not cover the immense expenses associated with treating cancer, we firmly believe that any small contribution can make a vast difference when a community comes together. The power of collective giving has instilled hope in us, and we remain committed to making a positive impact on the lives of those in need. Every little bit counts, and we are dedicated to ensuring that baristas worldwide receive the support they require.

Being a barista is a challenging job everywhere, with most countries not paying baristas enough to cover their basic living expenses. In many cases, they do not receive health insurance and are vulnerable to medical conditions.
