EMPOWERED WOMEN EMPOWER OTHER WOMEN!

As I ponder on the trajectory of my life, I am so aware of the role that other #women have played in my life. I have stood on the shoulders of giants who have steered me on a pathway of success and achievement. While my successes have been my joy, they have also been opportunities to reflect on those who have been the drivers of my life story. In a world where women are often marginalised I have met phenomenal women who have impacted my life in tangible ways. I remember teachers and mentors who planted in me the seeds of confidence and determination, often women who they themselves have not had easy journeys. My late paternal grandmother was a phenomenal woman who could inspire and motivate me in a short conversation. Her jovial persona and her ability to #mentor and embrace women of all kinds remains my pivotal memory of her. My maternal grandmother had an incisively sharp intellect and a regal and vibrant nature and was one of the greatest women I have ever met. My own mother stands tall as my greatest cheerleader edging me on in different seasons of my life. Of humble beginnings, she raised her family with courage and robust faith which provided a platform for all her children to find their wings. As I grow older, I am increasingly grateful for all the women who have been the catalysts in my life. As I encountered women who had broken barriers to reach for purpose, I have reached for my own purpose and pathway. Great women lead other women to destiny. Empowered women #empower other women to arise from the cesspool of despair in what can often be a cruel and unkind world to women who dare defy the obstacles they meet. My own hope is that my own life be inspiration for women around me who hope for a better tomorrow in any sphere of their lives. Upon the stories and struggles of other women we rise to meet our own lives and pathways empowered and strengthened for the journey
