My name is Ava Nkadi. I am a success driven and dedicated two sport (soccer and track) NCAA D1 student athlete at UNC Asheville. I am currently a second semester junior, majoring in psychology and minoring in neuroscience, as well as health and wellness. I have recently had the honor to be a recipient of the Coach Tate Scholarship award, for excelling in areas pertaining to community service, athleticism, academics, and leadership. I currently am a UNCA student health ambassador, MAHEC intern/scholar, and campus rec employee.  I extremely passionate about my endeavors, and am especially interested in pursuing a profession in (mental) healthcare and (holistic/integrative) medicine.
