ATTENTION EMPLOYERS, HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICERS, AND ORGANIZATIONS:
1. Do you know that any EMPLOYER/ORGANIZATION worth their salt is required to develop, maintain and update a comprehensive Human Resource Policy and Procedures Manual (the HR Manual)?
2. Do you know that the HR Manual is the KINGPIN OF GOOD CORPORATE GOVERNANCE in any organization as it is an internal mandatory guide with statutory underpinnings?
3. Do you know that the HR manual forms part of the Employment Contract relating to Leave, recruitment procedures, advertising and selection criteria, appointments and the appointment process, job classification and grading, remuneration, employment benefits and terms and conditions of employment, job assignments, the working environment and facilities, training and development, performance evaluation systems, promotion, transfer, demotion, termination of employment on disciplinary measures?
4. Do you know that an Employer is bound by the HR Manual, in the same way, the Employees are bound to abide by its terms in their daily work, disposition and behavior?
5. Do you know that an Employee who falls foul of the provisions of the HR Manual would be subjected to disciplinary action in the terms of the HR manual?

6. Do you know that 100% of Organizations that are found to be guilty of unfair labor practices are usually found to have violated their own HR Manual or they do not have one and therefore act arbitrarily?
7. Do you know that Organizations are required to train, ensure awareness, and supply Employees with the HR Manual in the form of a physical Handbook or an intranet?
