NOW, imagine this - (imagine with me!) I want to work for Schneider Electric when I grow up!
GenZ and the generations that are coming next, are smartER, they know their value, MORE aware, MORE demanding, they have more options and they are way MORE ambitious and guess what? They choose their future employers carefully because they know what they want.
Building loyalty with your target audience to your Employer Brand is crucial and having a connection with them that is built on trust, inspiration, interest & an increased awareness around you & what you do is necessary, not a luxury anymore.
That's why one of the best practices to do is to start from an earlier stage than the university years, start from high school! high school students prepare themselves to universities & hence their careers! If you were able to connect with them at this stage, educate them about you, build interest and inspiration to join you, empower them also in their journey - they can never forget you, you become their partner in success! They will dream about joining your company every single day at the university and then you continue the journey with them while they are there.
Here are some important factors to consider while you're planning to build loyalty programs with this target audience & how you can support them:
1- educate them about different careers in the market & what kind of studies leads them to those careers
2- educate them about the skills they need to build early on while they are studying in their universities
3- educate them about your internship program and why is it important for them not to waste the university years without attending any
4- educate them about the corporate world by inviting them to your office
5- BONUS POINT? Start with your employees' kids and build an even BIGGER loyalty & emotional attachment & early advocates ;)
