Employee Engagement Survey – Fostering a Stronger Culture ??
Listening to our employees is a vital part of MCC’s culture. Late last year, MCC conducted its first ever global employee engagement survey of our 12,000 teammates at 100 sites. Scoring high on the survey were our commitment to safety, MCC’s positive work-life balance, and teammates’ intention to work at MCC for the long term (>1 year)—a strong indicator of loyalty and satisfaction. We also received high marks for the flexibility teammates are afforded to provide great customer service, reflecting the importance of adaptability and customer-centricity in our culture.
MCC is actively responding to survey feedback by implementing several 2024 initiatives to enhance communication, foster teammate appreciation and recognition, and establish clearer career paths. These proactive steps underscore MCC's commitment to continuous improvement and employee satisfaction, positioning the company as an employer of choice within its industry.
As part of the commitment to enhance two-way communication, the company has recently implemented informal “hangout” sessions with Executive Leadership Team (ELT) members. These virtual sessions occur monthly with different leadership members, gathering 50+ attendees for an open forum Q&A session. These efforts have been well-received across the globe and help foster conversation and collaboration across all levels of the organization.

MCC’s Global Director of Sustainability, Stijn Billiet , and President of MCC Label Asia, Lars Schützenmeister , recently joined Regional Sustainability Manager, Devaki Rajendran , for an exclusive interview.
