Are you stressed about finances right now? Join the club — a new survey by SoFi found that 71% of employees have at least one money concern. Topping the list: having enough saved for retirement, paying off debt, and managing expenses like rent, a mortgage and food. But while the outlook seems bleak, employees are motivated to get on track: 83% want to improve their finances in 2022, and 72% feel optimistic they’ll meet their financial goals.?
Employees are eager for some hand-holding at work, but whether it concerns their finances or the training they get when they start a new role, they’re feeling left out in the cold. Only 46% of companies have specific training in place for new grads who are just entering the workforce, according to the e-learning site, Epignosis. Christina Gialleli, director of people operations at Epignosis, talked with EBN about why making this training available — and quickly — is vital in a competitive job market.?
