Employee wellness program.

Employee wellness program is a program that runs by big organisation to promote and improve the overall health of the employee like mental health, physical health, and emotional health.

What is employee wellness program?

As we all know employee is the very important asset of an organisation because employee is the human resource of the company and they handle all the work in an organisation so it is the responsibility of employer to take care of his employee. Take care of their mental health, physical health, emotional health, financial health etc. Now the employee wellness program comes into the picture so now what basically employee wellness program do so employee wellness is a program that run by employer to basically provide good health to their employee. If the employer will invest in there employee then employee will invest in an organisation.

If you want that your organisation will work smoothly then you have to take care of your employee.


Now here are some components of employee wellness program:-

Health assessments- Health assessments are the process to evaluate the person health so we can treat person properly.

Fitness program- As we all know fitness play a key role in every aspect of the human life. Fitness is a vital component of person life. So it is the duty of employer to provide good fitness facilities to employee and it’s also good for employer because if an organisation employee is fit so there state of mind works properly and at the end its good for an organisation.

Nutrition education- As we discuss above that fitness is the vital component of the human life and if you want to enter in the world of fitness then you have to take care of your nutrition. Now if you want to take care of your nutrition then you have the proper guide of the nutrition. In this program employer provides with proper education to employee so that employee can properly take care of their nutrition.

?Stress management- As we all know that in today’s corporate world there is lots of work load to the employee. And because of that, employee get stress easily because of stress they can’t focus on their work. So in employee wellness program, employer provide proper resources to manage the stress of employee like employer held many activities, meditation session, yoga classes, small tours, etc

Mental health support- As in person life there is lots of problem other than office. So companies offer employee assistance programs (EAPs) or counselling service to support employee’s emotional well being.

Health screening- In today world health is a very important aspect of the life so it’s very important to take regular health check-up in proper gap of time. In this program companies organise proper health screening camps such as blood pressure checks or flu vaccinations, can be provided to prevent and detect health issue early.
