Employees are valuable assets in any business organization. Therefore, their physical, mental and emotional wellness needs to be prioritized.
The good news is that employees who are healthy and happy tend to be more productive than those who are not.

The CEO must keep the team unified and focused on serving the customers. Since employees are the core value of the business, any physical or mental illness must be recognized and addressed. In the recent cases of workplace shootings, the shooter had no supportive friends and was viewed by other employees as an angry loner. In some cases, the CEO or an HR person may need to seek outside advice on external resources, where simple on the job coaching is not quickly resolving the issue. In some cases, the CEO or senior manager can assign an on the Job mentor to all new employees. I recommend that all managers should read and understand the different personality types that they may need to lead by reading "Type Talk at Work" by Otto Kroeger.

2 年I believe taking care of employees well is an investment to the community even if a person decides to quit your organization before superannuation
