Employee Spotlight: Smita Pati

Today, the spotlight's on Smita Pati, Enterprise Account Manager, based in Melbourne, Australia. She's been with Cofense for four years. We asked her to share her story about her life with Cofense. Her answers are in her own words, edited for length and clarity.

Q) What is the most fun part of your job? ?

A) I enjoy learning about Cofense PDC [Phishing Defense Center] findings and the chance to educate and influence clients' approach to phishing defense. ?

I love working as a team with wonderful folks of software engineering, support, customer experience, sales and more to assist clients throughout their tenure with us. I thrive on the sense of accomplishment that comes when, despite the odds, changing requirements, etc., customers renew with us. It makes all the hard work worth it!?

Q) How has your background helped you in your day-to-day work??

A) My inspirations and experiences in life are from living, studying and working in India, Kuwait and Australia. I am proud to have developed gratitude, patience and empathy as I embraced every city we moved to, and called home. It influences the way I communicate and adapt to challenging situations. Far away from family and all dear mates outside of Melbourne, I make it a point of leaving a short note, email or check-in call to stay connected. It’s no surprise that this influences the way I communicate and stay in touch with my clients, keeping in mind what will help them the most!?
