What is your role at eHub?

I am the Network Director here at eHub. I oversee the day-to-day operations of the eHub Network and work closely with each of our 3PL partners. I became the Network Director a little over a year ago. I started here at eHub in Partnerships and then took the Network over, made it my baby, and I'm so proud of how much it's grown in just one year.

With the Network, we provide a way to accelerate growth for both merchants and 3PLs. We aim to add opportunities for multiple growth solutions. We add multiple revenue streams, from carrier and rate optimizations to net new business opportunities that are tailored to their customer profile, and revenue share opportunities.

Also, our platform provides one centralized place to track all aspects of your logistics and growth strategy. That way our customers can leverage shipping and lead analytics, meaning we help businesses quickly grow their operations.

For 3PLs, joining our Network is a no-brainer. They get leads, revenue share, more business, and more growth.?

As far as merchants go, we’ve found in our conversations that many of them feel they are set up for failure. They start with setting up their platform and a website, then they’re in this position wondering how to get their products out into the market. That’s where the Network comes in. We provide them with options, opportunities, and solutions for THEIR specific fulfillment needs.?

Even established businesses face challenges. They’re growing too fast and can’t keep up with order through self-fulfillment. Or, they're transitioning from a bad 3PL, because the match wasn’t right. So many merchants are with the wrong 3PL, causing tensions because of this lack of understanding between the two or expectations that aren't met.?

Often it’s not that the 3PL is bad, it’s just not a match.?

Through the Network, we act as a free matchmaker, alleviating these pain points and improving the understanding of how each party works and their expectations.

What is the Network?

Some background, eHub initially started as a rate reseller for the USPS, reselling shipping rates directly to merchants. Naturally, with the boom of ecommerce in 2020, merchants were coming back to us saying that they’d outgrown self-fulfillment, and needed to outsource.?

There was a need to be connected to 3PLs, and these merchants trusted us because of our industry expertise. This began the genesis of the eHub Network, directing merchants to 3PLs based on individual fit and needs.?

The Network hit the ground running, creating a seamless connection of merchants and 3PLs.? We’ve since added multiple other value adds, accelerating the growth of our Network.?

It changed gears for eHub, positioning us as a valuable asset for 3PLs too.

What accomplishment are you most proud of at eHub?

Really, I’m most proud of how far the Network has come in a year. We moved at lightning speed, proud of how much value it gives to people; merchants, and 3PLs alike.

What is your favorite part of your job?

Adding value and making people's lives easier; allowing them to be successful.
