Can you share your background and what led you to join AddUp?

I've spent my entire career in sales. First, in IT custom software development and CAD/CAM/CAE high end solutions for industries. Next, in management where I gained experience in sales re-organization and business development. After 17 years in sales, I discovered the world of Additive Manufacturing (AM), and I was hooked. My professional experience with AM first began from the testing side, then production of parts and finally machines.

What inspired you to get into this industry?

Well, I consider AM as a true revolution. Still in its embryonal phase, but destined to be a protagonist within industrial production in the near future.

What did you find most exciting about AddUp?

The attention to features that I consider the most important when we talk about AM technology. It was clear to me from the beginning that AddUp prioritized high quality and reliable machines, safety and productivity for industrial applications. I could see right away the enthusiasm driven by a team of colleagues to see the technology develop with on an industrial level.

Can you summarize what you do at AddUp?

I began my journey with AddUp almost 2 years ago. I am the Sales and Business Development Manager for Italy, promoting our industrial metal 3D printing solutions ~ machines, parts and services. The objective of our business is to ease the challenge of adopting Additive Manufacturing for manufacturers. I find great satisfaction in partnering with my customers and sharing my passion for innovation in AM.

What do you like to do in your free time? Do you have any hobbies?

When I'm not working, I spend time with my family and friends. I love sports and music so motorbike riding, training at the gym and playing my guitars are my kind of joy.

What is your biggest motivator and/or how do you motivate yourself?

I’m driven by challenges, especially when I align with the values and vision of a project. The desire to achieve complex goals is what motivates me the most. Simple tasks tend to bore me, but tackling difficult ones keeps me engaged and inspired.
